Day # 5: India won the match by 172 Runs
Series India won the 4-match series 2-0
Player of the match JJ Krejza (Australia)
Player of the series I Sharma (India)
---
Stumps (Day # 4): Australia need 382 to win this Test match and retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy. A day full of intrigue. Sehwag made merry, Vijay continued to impress and Krejza continued his crazy debut. Along with him, Watson found reverse swing - for the first time in the Test and perhaps, the series, the demarcation between the shiny side and the rough was very clear as the Aussies maintained the ball well - and bowled superbly to rattle the middle order. India went into tea with the game on a knife's edge and came out to an bizzare session where Australia 's slow over rate history handed them a sever handicap. Or so it seems. The part time bowlers like Hussey, Clarke bowled a few overs even as Watson was forced to remain out of action. Dhoni and Harbhajan prospered and after Krejza took out Dhoni, Watson returned to wipe out the tail. Australia needed 382 to win and have knocked out 13 off it in the two overs. (source: cricinfo)
Tea (day# 4): Tendulkar, OUT, And more drama as the Aussies charge their way into the Test match. Tendulkar is run out. He pushed it to covers and set of for the run and he was middle of the crease when he realised Dhoni has not budged from the other end. Too late. Gone! And India lead by by 252 runs. Game on. Thrilling stuff. And that's tea. (source: cricinfo)
---
Lunch (day# 4): India's session. Sehwag and Vijay have added 98 runs in 26 overs at 3.77 per over. What can Australia do to come back in this Test? Indians are slowly getting their hands on that trophy. Australia need to do something soon. Can they? Lets wait and watch...(source: cricinfo)

End of day # 3: India's day. The first session plan was simple: Bowl well outside off, dry up the runs and make Australia force the pace. Right at the end of that period, Zaheer slipped a reverse swinging yorker to take out Katich. Then the frontal attack began. Hussey fell for 90 and White resisted valiantly but all the bowlers chipped in to earn India an 86-run lead.
---
Stumps (day 2): fight back from Katich and Hussey. Both the left-handers used the width of the crease brilliantly to play the spinners. Harbhajan stayed round the stumps, Sehwag stayed over the wickets, Mishra went both sides but they couldn't break through. Fascinating day 3 on cards.
---
Tea-2nd Day(Australia 43/1)
Hayden fell in the brief session. What a waste of a wicket. Run out by the debutant. Hayden has been run out 11 times in Test cricket.
---
India all out 441. Sehwag dazzled, Vijay impressed, Tendulkar showed his class, Ganguly stamped his presence and Dhoni did his bit. The Aussies dropped catches, leaked runs but Jason Krejza, who went wicketless for 199 runs in the warm-up game before being dumped, stormed into public imagination with the amount of runs he gave and the no of wickets. Fascinating debut. Bit bizzare but a great moment for the fun-loving tweaker. (source: cricinfo)
Krejza's Analysis: 43.5-1-215-8 (What a memorable bitter-sweet debut for Jason Krejza. Krejza won't forget Nagpur, Indians will always remember him and his bizarre debut.)
